A hands-on introduction to microcontroller project design with dozens of example circuits and programs. Presents practical designs for use in data loggers, controllers, and other small-computer applications. Example circuits and programs in the book are based on the popular 8052-BASIC microcontroller, whose on-chip BASIC programming language makes it easy to write, run, and test your programs. With over 100 commands, instructions, and operators, the BASIC-52 interpreter can do much more than other single-chip BASICs. Its abilities include floating-point math, string handling, and special commands for storing programs in EPROM, EEPROM, or battery-backed RAM.
Editorial : From Scientific American an ideal introduction to low-end embedded design.Axelson takes the reader from essentially no knowledge of programming through Basic while offering lots of insight into the design of simple embedded systems. The next time I hire new CS or EE graduates, I plan to have them work through both Bebop to the Boolean Boogie and The Microcontroller Idea Book. A week spent soaking up these practical concepts will help ground them in reality and balance the four years of theory still ringing in their ears.
This books barely covers the basics of the now old V4 version. Beyond Attack gave the insider's story of what a person can experience after such a horrific event. Solid PM concepts and excellent backstory. FERDINAND AND ISABELLA
IX. Wonderful read! Inspiring & Captivating, I read this book in one sitting! It was truly eye opening, I have recommended this book to several friends who agreed this is an amazing book worth reading & sharing, I give this book 5 Stars & highly recommend it!. It does a just average review in a non-detailed manner of a handful of commands. Those who are enamored with class actions may think Dillon and Cannon were too tough on Lerach--or should have chosen a more sympathetic subject, a class action lawyer who acted more ethically. Everyone has interviewed Joe Sutter, the "father of the 747",Chief Engineer on the project, and now he's written his own account.
It's his personal story as well as the making of history in aviation. PERSONAL TRAITS
