Jan has done an exceptional job putting together this book. It's a reject from the bindery because it was bound upside-down. Perhaps its the fact that he has too many POVs; the chapters on Piper and Februaren/Heris was exciting and satisfying but the chapters dealing with Nassim were dull and (unless Cook unveils something big in book #4) didn't seem to be that relevant to the overall plot. We poor Mortals have nothing to do with it, but to fabricate all the good We can out of all inevitable Evils, and to avoid all that are avoidable, and many such there are, among which are our own unnecessary Apprehensions and imaginary Fears. I love when he comes out of the pool and tells Polly he's been there forever. Overall, each book built upon the one before it, creating a world with vampires and hunters that I didn’t want to see come to an end. It's hard for me to go completely "Vegan" or "Vegetarian", but I'm still experimenting with this lifestyle and the benefits. This book answered a
