She became a Reverend in the Universal Church of the Master in Santa Clara, California. Susan now lives in Hawaii with her springer spaniel. The romance was intense but also very much a part of the story. We continually need reminded this is a normal process. I read lots of books about LCN and this one so far was the worst. It talks about things such as: what are glazes (composition and origin) and how does the chemical process work? What are the main glazing techniques? What are all the various types of clay and where do they come from? How does one choose a clay to work with? Since the art and history of clay making varies from culture to culture, a lot of different styles and techniques are included, making this a well-rounded book.
Many parts of the book are very technical (a little intimidating to me) and are probably best suited for the 'master' clay artist. An examination of the citations will confirm this.
I was especially looking forward to a discussion of what many consider Adenauer's finest hour. Somehow I managed to always keep the book with me and though I have read it several times, I reread it yest
