I don't know who is responsible for approving this wreck of a book, but potential buyers should know that the essays are extremely repetitive, the citation style inconsistent, and unedited. Jarvis' program. His fantasy/horror tales set in South and Central America were also quite popular -- and well-written (and researched, as it was obivous Shepard had/has an affinity for those regions) --and also added to his reputation as one of the few genre writers who brought a truly literary quality to his work. Jenna Woods is incredibly knowledgeable and she has included a lot of extras that would even aid to drummers as well as dancers! Ignorance has its consequences. Such a good story. Can't put the book down.
