The star geologist of Omega Oils, the brilliant but eccentric Francis Makepeace, could be connected to both, but he has disappeared and seems determined not to be found. It takes all Campion's guile and charm to get to the bottom of the mystery and ensure that the new, youthful allies he recruits emerge unscathed.
Vagabonds wondering the country killing people, having sex, explicit profanity and a law enforcement officer going state to state and out of his jurisdiction in an effort to catch them. The book certainly lacks good coverage of industrial buildings (for example a mine, a factory, large chimnies) and public buildings, most noticeably churches (which are pretty unique from a modelling standard), but also town halls, markets etc.
Finally I bought this book from Amazon in the United States and it purports to be a US edition from Middletown in Delaware, in fact I'm guessing it is "print on demand" though Amazon don't mention that when you purchase it. This is an issue I'd far rather think through in advance than be stuck in the middle without warning. This book is not suitable as an introduction to set theory. You could design & etch batter boards for every project. In fact the book is written by an author who has written for DK, as well. Adams' views are bracing and worth hearin
