Nearly all of the understanding you get will come from doing the projects and the book is written with this intent. It's very handy for short sessions, when there's limited time. While many have gone to Contemporary Christianity, Brother Barnes has held his ground. I love the Lupi books but for me, this one didn't quite reach the level the previous stories did.
